Our Main Strategy

Strategy

One of the major global economic and social trends currently underway is the increasing disparity in incomes, standards of living, and opportunities between countries in the Northern and Southern hemisphere, and within countries in all regions of the world. The domination and expansion of corporations continue to erode individual rights and influence in most communities. The forces that pitch the obscenely affluent 1% against the 99% and the subsequent race to the bottom, continue to accelerate as well as pose an existential danger to all of humanity.

A lack of adequate information, organization, coordination, technical know-how, and expertise, continues to constitute a major obstacle to underserved communities in most countries; increasing tensions, unemployment, alienation, social instability and disenfranchisement among other vices. Underlying this state of affairs are some common denominators which impact most societies, regardless of differences in age, race, nationality, creed, and other non-class-based variables.

II seeks to forge the creation of alternative paradigms that address some of these vexing and thematic societal challenges in a way that offers hope to the most vulnerable among us. Using cross sections, interdisciplinary solutions-oriented work teams, it develops proprietary and efficacious solutions which are subsequently disseminated for replications to the larger populations, partnering with local non-profits, philanthropic organizations and other entities with similar or complimentary goals.

It is expected that the ability of II as an institution to enable information resources to be made more readily available, accessible and affordable to these vulnerable population groups, will help alleviate their conditions thereby promoting individual and community empowerment.
